Basic Installation Guide of Sorbo Pad

by: Ramon Lim aka zx101 of Fil Airsoft

*Gearbox disassembly is required. For beginners, contact your nearest gunsmith for proper installation.

Take out the cylinder head from the cylinder.

Remove the stock rubber damper, pry it out using a flat screwdriver .
Stock rubber damper is now completely removed.

Most adhesive does not stick well on the oily surface. So remove the excess oil in the cylinder head. Wash the cylinder head w/ dish washing soap. Using a brush will also make the work cleaner and faster.
After cleaning/washing. Apply small amount of alcohol in the cylinder head surface, wipe it with damp cloth and let it dry.

Strip the adhesive’s outer skin and put the sorbo pad in the cylinder head.

Make it sure that the sorbo pad is securely installed. Press the cylinder head against the flat surface.

Sorbo pad is now completely installed. A.R.S. sorbo pad fits perfectly.

My set up.

systema m130 spring
systema torque up gear
prometheus spring guide
Prometheus hard piston
systema pom piston head w/ bearing
systema area 1K 6mm metal bushing

modify type 0 cylinder

After placing all the upgrade parts and tested my gun,
I am very impressed with the A.R.S. sorbo pad, put one in my custom TM M16 VN and it rocks, huge difference in sound, quieter, reliable and cheap!.
